Pearl Fryar
Pearl Fryar is a self-taught topiary artist in Bishopville, SC. Born a sharecropper's son in North Carolina in 1939, society told Fryar he would never amount to anything. Today, he is an inspiration to us all as he shows us what can come of creativity mixed with drive, will, and determination.

Claudine Hellmuth is a nationally recognized collage artist, author and illustrator. She combines photos, paint, paper and pen into quirky, whimsical-retro collages. Her artworks have been featured on The Martha Stewart Show, in Mary Engelbreit's Home Companion magazine, The New York Times, on HGTV's "I Want That!" and on the DIY Network's program, "Craft Lab."
In addition to creating her artwork full-time, Claudine has developed a product line with Ranger Inc. under the brand name of "Claudine Hellmuth Studio", and she licenses her illustrations to the gift, home and craft markets.
Claudine also teaches collage workshops in the US & Canada, and she has written 3 books and 3 DVDs about her techniques. Originally from Orlando FL, Claudine now lives in Washington DC with her husband Paul and their very spoiled pets: Mabel and Brian the cats, and their dog Maggie.
Duff Goldman
Duff has been cooking since the age of four when his Mom caught him in the kitchen swinging around a meat cleaver, while watching Julia Child and Chef Tell on TV. After graduating from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, he went on to study at the Culinary Institute of America in Napa Valley, California. He worked at several acclaimed culinary destinations, including the French Laundry, the Vail Cascade Hotel, and Todd English's Olives before returning to Baltimore in 2000 to become a personal chef and then in March of 2002, he quit his day job and opened Charm City Cakes. The bakery became a household name via the hit show on Food Network, “Ace of Cakes,” which aired for ten seasons. Duff also hosted the Food Network show, "Sugar High." The summer of 2011, he and his team headed out to Los Angeles to open Charm City Cakes West.

Acclaimed fashion designer and former Project Runway breakout star, Chris March is a fashion and costume designer based in New York City. Originally from San Francisco, he worked for 10 years at “Beach Blanket Babylon”, America’s longest running show creating their signature outrageous wigs and hats. After moving to New York in 2001, Chris’s reputation and career took off landing him a spot as a designer finalist on “Project Runway” season 4.
From elegant dresses to theatrical costumes, Chris March has mastered couture fashion, creating unique pieces appropriate for any event, be it a masquerade ball or red carpet event. Chris has designed for some of the world’s biggest names including Madonna, Prince, Cirque de Soleil, Beyonce Knowles, and Meryl Streep, who’s dress for the 2010 Academy awards resulted in rave reviews and Streep’s placement on many Best-Dressed lists.
Chris is currently featured on “Mad Fashion,” a new BRAVO reality series.

Karen Bit Vejle was born in Denmark in 1958 and has lived in Trondheim, Norway since 1985. In her early career she was employed as a journalist at Norwegian Broadcasting Corp. and worked a number of years as a project manager for one of Norway’s most successful TV series, NRK1-TV. Bit made paper cuts as a secret hobby and hid all her paper cuts underneath her rugs for nearly 40 years. In 2008, a colleague found them by accident and brought them to light. In November 2008, Bit’s first show opened at The National Museum of Decorative Arts in Norway. Since then, her traveling exhibition “Scissors for a Brush” has been touring prominent museums in Scandinavia garnering considerable public attention.
