8 Nights of Hanukkah Layout
Designer: Susan Weinroth
Difficulty rating: Beginner
Using a simple grid pattern, along with 8 photos and your Fiskars circle punch, you can easily create this Hanukkah "at-a-glance" style scrapbook page.
Instructions:
Start with a base sheet of 12x12 cardstock. Adhere patterned paper strip across middle and accent with punched scallop border strip and ribbon.
Trim 8 squares from cardstock, measuring 2.5 inch square each. Your ninth (middle) square for the grid will actually be a rectangle - 2.5 by 5 inches - then when folded in half will measure 2.5 square like the other 8 squares.
Adhere all 9 squares to a base sheet of white cardstock, leaving a bit of white visible around the perimeter.
Punch 8 photos (1 from each night of Hanukkah, if desired) with the XL Round N Round squeeze punch circle, and adhere one per square. Add a number sticker to each square to note the night number.
Punch an XL circle from cardstock for the top of the center block then add the year.
Write or print journaling on inside of center square.
(Optional) Use a magnetic closure to tack down the journaling square. If you use a small round magnet, you can use the Fiskars pop up circle punch to punch coordinating cardstock to "cover" the magnet with.
Adhere grid collage to page. Use Fiskars Ultra Shape Xpress and circle template to embellish edge of page with various colored circles and rhinestones.
Add title above square collage.
