Fairy Treat Boxes
Difficulty rating: Beginner
Designer: Katrina Simeck
My cousin's daughter has a sweet tradition of maintaining a "fairy garden." This magical spot in the garden is a place where fairies visit and leave little treats. I created these tiny treat boxes to hold special gifts in the fairy garden. They're the perfect size for candies, crafty bits, and small notes.
Instructions:
1. For each box, trim a sheet of patterned paper or cardstock to 5 inch x 5 inch. Use the scoring blade for your Fiskars trimmer to score each sheet into 8 equal sections.
2. Fold the outer corners inward, forming a box along with score lines.
3. For extra interest, use Fiskars Texture plates and Embossing tools to dry emboss cardstock before forming into the box.
4. Embellish the top of each box with punched shapes, sparkly brads, and/or buttons.
5. Fill little treats!
