Happy Easter Shadowbox
Difficulty rating: Beginner
Designer: Becky Novacek
When I create a shadowbox design, I rarely adhere the design to the box. That way I'm free to change out the designs according to seasons. That's why i really like to use shadowboxes for seasonal decor...it's so simple to just switch out designs and keep seasonal decor prices down!
Instructions:
1. Use Desktop Trimmer to trim background pattern paper to 8" x 8".
2. Use new Bunny Punch to punch pink/cream gingham bunny.
3. Use new "Frame" Stamp and High Density Black Ink to make a frame right in the center of the background paper.
4. Use stamped frame to measure for blue wool that will fill the empty framed space. Then use 8" Bent Scissors to cut wool to fit.
5. Adhere punched bunny to blue wool and then adhere wool piece inside stamped frame. Use a strong wet adhesive.
6. Place Alpha Stickers above and below stamped focus.
7. Machine stitch around design twice.
8. Adhere blue ribbon bow.
9. Use Threading Water Border Punch on strip of 8" x 1" Black/Cream Pattern Paper. Adhere to the bottom of background.
10. Place background pattern paper with design in shadowbox.
