There's no better way to ward off end-of-winter blues than planning for spring! One of my favorite ways to do this is to begin to plan my garden. I created these cute garden gifts with spring planting in mind. They’re super easy to make using small terra-cotta pots, seed packets, garden markers, and your Fiskars tools! So fun to share a little springtime with friends!

Instructions:
1. Begin by decorating the terra-cotta pots. I created a "grass" border for the inside of th pot using Fiskars Leave it to Weaver border punch. Simply punch a one inch wide strip of cardstock, then trim one side to create the grass effect. Adhere around the inside rim of the terra-cotta pot.

2. Use the Lacy Days of Summer border punch to create a decorative strip to adhere to the outside rim of the pot. Add another strip of 1-inch wide paper underneath punched strip.

3. To create the plant markers, use the Tags template to cut a large tag out of kraft cardstock. Attach a plant marker to the back, using craft tape.

4. Embellish the top of the tag with punched shapes (I used Fiskars Limited Edition spring punches). Adhere with foam adhesive for extra dimension.

Slip a few seed packets in each pot and a garden marker, and you're sure to make someone smile!
