Heart Butterflies
Difficulty rating: Beginner

I am currently obsessed with butterflies and was so excited to come up with a creative way to use the 'Framed in Love' Border & Corner Punch to create the sweetest little guys. I love when punches are so versatile!
It's super easy to do … here's how!
1. Trim a 2" x 2.5" rectangle of cardstock using trimmer.
2. Punch each corner with the 'Framed in Love' punch using only the corner lever.
3. See the butterfly already? Now all that is left is to cut him out by trimming along the punched design.
Tip: I wanted the top wings to be a little different than the bottom so instead of trimming around that part of the design, I left the corners of my cardstock but rounded them very gently with my scissors.
4. Top with buttons and you're done.
For this layout, I created five butterflies using this technique and added four along the bottom of my cardstock base below a strip of photos. I then simply added a strip of journaling, a title flanked with two Pop-up Punch Butterflies, and my final butterfly centered at the top. For a finishing touch, I rounded the top corners of my layout using the Twist & Flip corner punch.
