Homegrown Tomato Layout

Every summer, we love to grow tomatoes in our back yard. And by the end of the season, we have a huge crop and tons of tomatoes to use and I love making Tomato chutney so that we can enjoy the fresh tomatoes well into the fall season. A scrapbook layout is the perfect way to preserve these memories and recipes.
Instructions:
Here, I used 2 different colored cardstocks as the base of my layout. Lightly sketch with a pencil, a grid for your photos.
Using the Fiskar’ Everywhere punch, punch out rectangles in the grid. I used the square punch that comes with the starter set to cut out windows of 2.25 by 3.5 inches (wallet size photographs). First, align the square punch to each corner of rectangle and punch.
This is how it will look after you punch 4 overlapping squares. I then used the fingertip detail knife to complete the window.
Adhere your photos beneath the cardstock.
To add the title, using the Easy stamp press and alphas, spell the word “homemade”. Press High density ink onto the stamp, and stamp onto the cardstock.
In the center of the layout, layer patterned paper and cream cardstock on an angle. Write your journaling onto this.
Using the Shape cutting set, and Uppercase letters, from a patterned paper cut alphabets to spell “tomatoes”.
Place these cut out alphabets onto a paper towel, and spritz with a yellow mist or diluted paint. Allow paper to absorb the paint for a few seconds, and then pat dry with another paper towel. Allow to dry completely. Adhere title onto layout using foam tape to add dimension.
Punch butterflies using squeeze and lever punches. Adhere onto layout using foam tape.
Adhere your recipe card onto layout. Decorate the page with two patterned paper tomatoes.
Using the Leaves border punch on two different 12 by 12 inch papers, make few borders. Adhere these on an angle onto the right and left edges of the layout. Further decorate the title and recipe card with red patterned paper cut using a scallop scissor.
