Good Intention Boxes

I am a huge fan of intentions, resolutions, and goals, but just as guilty as everyone else of losing sight of them. I wanted to create a crafty way to remind and motivate myself!

Like many that I know, I fully embrace the idea of "New Year, New You." I love setting goals and intentions. I choose a word to focus on for the year, and try to incorporate that into my daily practice.

For an extra boost of motivation, I created this box of intention cards that I can reference daily.

Decide on a theme for your intentions box. I chose earth tones to remind me to be grounded, and added a bit of sparkle to remind me to celebrate successes.

To create the cover of my intention box, I created a paper ribbon with the Dotted Herringbone Large Punch Cartridge. I layered over a strip of patterned paper, and wrapped around the box. I then added a sparkley banner and number stickers.

The Banner Year Lever Punch seemed particularly appropriate for this project!

Each intention card is 4" x 6", and is embellished with simple punched shapes. When writing your intentions, be sure to remember to phrase them in present tense, as if you've already achieved them! I included a card with my focus word for the year - I have a feeling that I'll be referencing that one often!
