Joy Card

Sometimes, it isn’t easy to find the right materials to create something you have envisioned. For this card, I used basic cardstock and drew out my own letters so the card would mirror my vision!

I first drew my letters out on some white cardstock. Using the Amplify® Mixed Media Shears, I then cut out the letters and adhered some patterned papers and felt onto them. Once the glue dried, I trimmed out the excess felt.

To add dimension to the background of the card, I used some embossing paste and a stencil. The white embossing paste on white cardstock gives a nice tone on tone texture.

Once the paste had dried I added the letters onto the card to spell “Joy” and added a wooden star on top.
