Wish Card with Rosette

Yes, you can make a stunning using only one single decorative punch.  See for yourself!

The extra steps to make a paper rosette are worth the effort, especially when the outer edge has a decorative edge such as the Apron lace design.
Here’s how:

1) Use a blank pre-made 5" x 6.5" top-folded ivory card as a base.

2) Cover the front of the card with a 5" x 6.5" floral patterned paper.

3) Place a 2.75" x 5" scallop border-punched coral cardstock along the bottom edge of the card.

4) With foam adhesive, adhere another 2.25" x 5" scallop border-punched turquoise cardstock along the bottom edge of the card.

5) Add a horizontal 1.5" x 5" light blue cardstock strip over the turquoise scalloped strip.  Place a sticker sentiment on it.

6) Freehand-cut 2 leaves out of green fabric.  Adhere them to the top portion of the card as shown.

7) Attach a flower rosette over the fabric leaves.  (Find rosette flower instructions below.)

8) For the rosette flower, begin with a 1.5" x 12" strip of turquoise cardstock.  Punch one long edge with a scalloped border punch. With a scoring tool, score vertical lines in between scallops.

Wish Card step 2

Fan-fold the strip like an accordion.

Wish Card step 3

Adhere the two free ends of the accordion-folded strip.

Wish Card step 4

Push the center down, scallop edge on the outside, into a strong glue-dotted backing.  Embellish with a button for the flower center.
