Bridal Recipe Book

Sharing favorite recipes with a bride-to-be at a bridal shower is a nice way to offer support in what might be the new, and sometimes intimidating, activity of daily meal planning and preparation.  And even an experienced cook enjoys new recipes!

Have each person bring their recipe pre-printed on a 4 x 6 recipe card and drop it in a pretty basket.  Then, send them all home with her in an organized way by slipping them into the sleeves of a sweetly embellished photo album.

1. Begin by cutting a piece of patterned paper long enough to wrap around the front cover, spine, and back cover of a small photo album and adhere it to the cover with a strong adhesive such as a double-sided adhesive sheet.  Consider using a Fiskars corner punch on the corners.

2.  Next, create an embossed die cut using the Fuse Creativity System®.  Stitch around the perimeter if desired and adhere it to the front cover of the album.

3.  Add a heart punched with the My Funny Valentine Large Squeeze Punch, some chipboard letters,  a small sentiment banner, and tie the album closed with some pretty ribbon.  Set the album next to the basket on a table and you have both a sentimental gift and a bridal shower decoration.
