Elegant Coed Wedding Shower Party

One pre-wedding party that is growing in popularity is a Co-Ed Shower.

With a combined guest list of both genders, this can be another fun festivity to add to or replace the traditional bachelor/bachelorette parties.

The elegant set is classic enough to also use during the actual wedding day. Here are a few projects to get you started.

Bride & Groom Advice Cards

Advice Bride and Groom holder

Run a 12" x 12" piece of charcoal grey cardstock through the Fuse Creativity System® using the Favor Wrap Large Die Set. Cut the upper section that has a flap, then put the box together. For the rings, use the Ultra ShapeXpress™ Shape Cutter & Circle Template to first cut a smaller circle shape for the inner ring hole on a silver glitter cardstock. Go over the shape to cut the outer larger circle. Cut 2 of the ring shapes. For the diamond, punch a hexagon shape out of the silver glitter cardstock and adhere it to the edge of one of the rings. Overlap and adhere the diamond ring and the plain ring. Attach the overlapped rings to the front of the card box. Fill the box with advice cards.

Thank You "Rings" Card
Start with a 8" x 5.5" charcoal grey piece of cardstock. Score and fold it in half to create a 4" x 5.5" top-folded card.

Attach the overlapped rings to the front of the card, with it slightly off the edge of the card. Trim off the excess that is hanging off the card edges.

With a 12" x 12" white glittery cardstock, run it through a Fuse Creativity System® using the Dress Form Die. Cut off the lower section of the dress form. Create a strapless neckline by putting the dressform shape into a hexagon punch as shown. Add a long skirt to the bottom of the updated dressform shape. Place a strip of clear tiny rhinestones along the bottom of the bodice. Make small side-folded place cards and label them with guest names (or add them later). Adhere the finished wedding gown on the left edge of the place card with the card stand folded behind it.

Cut a piece of 5" x 2" black cardstock for the tuxedo base. Punch a large banner shape, then clip off the top corners as shown.  Adhere this piece to the top center of the black cardstock rectangle. For the bow tie, punch a small hexagon shape and trim off the top and bottom sections. Place it on the top section of the tuxedo shirt. Adhere the tuxedo to the left edge of a place card, with the card stand folded behind it.

Favor Pillow Box

Wedding Pillow Favor Box

Run a 12" x 12" piece of charcoal grey cardstock through the Fuse Creativity System® using the Pillowbox Large Die Set. Insert favor items inside the box now (or later). Create a 12" border trim with the Advantedge™ Punch System, the Celtic Knot cartridge, and silver cardstock. Wrap this around the pillow box. Next, wrap a wide sparkly sheer ribbon around the pillow box and tie a pretty bow. Embellish the finished bow with a ring.
