Sharing Christmas – Advent Calendar

Christmas is such a fun time, full of many traditions. If you live away from family, share the magic with loved ones.

1. Begin by creating 25 cards. Each one is numbered 1-25. You can make these cards as simple or elaborate as you like. The special part will be inside.

2. When creating this many cards all at once, create an assembly line for card making. This means that each of the parts that are needed for the card are prepared before you put the cards together. (See photo above.) This makes the process of making the cards go quickly and efficiently.

3. At the end of each day in December, you can print a photo of something special you did during the day that will share a piece of your Christmas with those that you love. Maybe you sat on Santa’s lap, made a gingerbread house, played a festive tune at a piano recital, or just put up the decorations.

Then mail it off! It is such an easy way to share your Christmas season and enjoy the traditions of the season all month long until Christmas Day.
