Pumpkin Treat Bags

At this time of the year, the stores are full of gift bags and decorative packaging.

It would be so easy to throw a few in my shopping cart each time I’m out - but watch the dollars add up! Creating your own beautiful packaging not only saves money, you get to create something really unique and personalized.

1. Cut two ovals, one in orange and one in yellow using the Oval Medium Design Set from the Fuse Creativity System®. Use the pumpkin letterpress plate from the oval expansion pack to ink a pumpkin face on the orange oval.

2. Use the Fingertip Swivel Detail knife to cut away the eyes, nose and mouth from the pumpkin face.

3. Use adhesive foam dots and adhere the yellow oval behind the pumpkin face, so that it creates the effect of a yellow glowing flame.

First, adhere the adhesive dots:

8. Mount the pumpkin to the front of paper gift bags. Print out a phrase on the printers and add the sentiment to finish the treat bags. Oh and don’t forget the candy!
