Backpack Personalization

It is almost time for your kids to go back to school!

Let’s make their backpacks and lunch bags shine with their own personalized name tags.

Using a paper trimmer, trim your paper 2.5 x 3.5 inches. {Or the size of your badge holders.}

Embellish the name badges using punches, washi tape, metal clips, etc.

To make the metal clips fit inside the badge holders, use the fingertip knife to cut a slit almost in the center of the main piece of patterned paper and slide the clip in the slit.

Use letter stickers to add your student’s monogram to the badge. For safety reasons, I keep it to their first initial.

To add more dimension to the punched embellishments, use pop dots!

This badge was made specifically for a library card! I’ve seen this saying that has been around the internet lately and loved it. I just had to incorporate it into a tag!

Add ball chain or a large office ring to add the badges to each backpack or lunch bag. Embellish with a few different colors &/or textures of ribbon.
