Monthly Mixed Media Ideas #8

Monthly Mixed Media Ideas 8

For this month’s Mixed Media Ideas, I brought in various textures and layered them to make a pretty tag.

I first trimmed down a sheet of cork to be slightly bigger than a regular shipping tag and punched a hole at the top of the tag.

 Trim cork

I then created a flower stencil by punching the flower on some scrap patterned paper. I placed this stencil on some white cardstock and used gelatos to color inside the stencil. I used an aqua brush to even out the gelato color and then trimmed out the flower using the Easy Action Micro Tip Scissors.

To finish the tag, I adhered some ruffled fabric onto the bottom of the tag. I then adhered the grey tag on top of the cork tag and adhered more patterned papers and the flowers.
