Score 'N Fold Gift Bag

After trying your hand at this project, you’ll never make a last minute run to the store for a small gift bag again.

It’s super easy and only takes a single sheet of cardstock-weight patterned paper. Embellishing with a die cut, letter pressed tag exponentially ups the cute factor!

Score your paper

Using a piece of 11” x 11” cardstock (or cardstock weight patterned paper) and your paper trimmer along with a scoring tool, make vertical score marks at the 2 ½”, 5”, 7 ½” and 10” measurements. Turn your paper 90 degrees and make one score mark at the 2 ½” measurement.

fold along all the scored markings

Fold along ALL scored markings and cut away the 1” x 2 ½” piece in the lower corner and discard.

cut along score lines

Then, cut along the 2 ½” score lines to cut the flaps loose.

Place adhesive on the bottome flap

Place adhesive on one bottom flap and adhere to the flap immediate adjacent. Continue to overlap and adhere until all 4 bottom flap pieces are adhered.

Tuck in the one inch strip and adhere side

Before adhering the last flap, place adhesive on the 1” strip, tuck to the inside and pinch to adhere, making a tall cube open on the top.

use a hole punch to punch holes in the top of treat bag

Fill gift bag with desired findings or treats, then tuck in 2 sides and pinch closed at the top. Use a hole-punch to punch holes in the top of the treat bag.

Create a gift tag embellishment

Using the Fuse Creativity System® to create a gift tag embellishment for your bag. Punch a hole in the top of the tag.

String ribbon through the holes, thread tag onto ribbon and tie in a bow. Embellish as desired.
