A banner can be an easy way to decorate for a birthday, holiday or special event. Making a mixed media banner is easy, and I’ll show you how to make your own in the steps below!

Punch hexagons using the XL Hexagon Squeeze Punch in various colors and place these on top of punched scalloped circles.

Trim rough squares from felt using the Amplify® RazorEdge™ Fabric Shears and layer these beneath the scalloped circles. Adhere these to form your banner and spell "oh happy day". Trim fabric to form a banner shape and layer these beneath the cardboard banners.

To create a fun layered look for this banner, choose some bright yellow tissue paper and create a background fringe layer. Trim the tissue paper to size using the SureCut™ Deluxe Paper Trimmer and then use the Amplify® Mixed Media Shears to cut fringes into it.
