Mixed Media Art Journaling Layering Textures

Make a colorful textured page!

Creating a mixed media page is all about layering textures and colors. The fun play of color is a nice way to brighten your day!

Using the Butterfly Flight Clear stamps and black ink, stamp repeatedly on your page to create a messy stamped background.

Using the AdvantEdge™ Punch and with the Flower Garden Punch Cartridge, punch borders from various patterned papers and cut them into smaller pieces using the Amplify® Mixed Media 8 inch shears. Adhere these borders onto the page with some gel medium.

Punch circles from patterned papers using the Round ‘n Round Extra Large Squeeze punch and adhere these onto the page. Using a large stencil add some gold designs and then a large white butterfly onto the page.
