Creating handmade graduation announcements is a terrific way to feature senior portraits. The neutral color scheme in these announcements adds a bit of sophistication. The simple design ensures that they’ll be easy to replicate if you have a long list of friends and family.

Black and white star announcement

Black & White Stars Announcement
For this style, start with base cardstock measuring 5x7, with rounded corners. Adhere a 4x6 photo (also with rounded corners). Print graduation information on a small piece of cardstock. Use the Stars Aligned Border punch on the lower edge.

Creating the star border using the Fiskars Small Advantedge Punch System

Layer over a piece of patterned paper, and adhere directly to photo. Add additional stars using foam adhesive.  

Neutral Notebook Announcement

Neutral Notebook Announcement
For this style, you’ll again start with base cardstock measuring 5x7, with rounded corners. Print your photo to approximately 3x4, and round the right edges. Trim a piece of patterned paper to 3x4, and round the left edges. Adhere both side-by-side on the base. After printing graduation information on a small piece of cardstock, punch upper & lower edges with the Notebook Border Punch.

Create the notebook look with the Fiskars Notebook Border Punch

Create a ruffle effect by tucking in another layer of border punched cardstock. Add small punched hearts with foam adhesive.
