Treat Boxes

I know that January can be a challenging month, and I wanted to come up with a way to surprise a friend.

I love the idea of monthly subscription boxes - they remind me of crafty kit clubs! There's something so fun about opening a box full of beauty finds, crafty supplies, or yummy snacks.

Here's a great way to surprise a friend with a box full of treats - no subscription required!

Choose a simple box and decorate the cover. For this box, I used the Fuse Creativity System® Snowflake Medium Design set. After making the snowflakes, I added a bit of adhesive, and a dusting of glitter.

Decide on your contents. For the snowy month of January, I chose items that will help to add a little comfort to cold days: lotion, lip balm, gloves, and hot cocoa.

I adhered the lip balm to a 3" x 4" card, using a punched strip of cardstock.

You can choose any small shape punch to add a "window" to the strip.

I slipped the hot cocoa packets into a glassine bag, and created an easy "enjoy" tag using the Circle Lever Punch (XXXX-Large) and small Snowflaker Lever punch.

I also created a simple card  - to make this card, use a plain card base, and layer strips of cardstock. I used the Dots Border punch to add a bit of extra interest. After adhering a few snowflakes, and adding a few warm wishes, it's done!
