  • Lift the purple rail guide until it locks in the up position
  • Remove the nut and the blue blade cover with a slight turn to the left
  • Carefully remove the blade and replace it with a new one
  • Replace the blue blade cover and the nut, being careful not to over tighten, and lower the rail guide

How do I change the cutting bar of my Fabric Strip Cutter?

  • Lift the purple rail guide until it locks in the up position
  • Flip to the back and use the holes to push out the cutting strip

Helpful hint: When the trimmer isn’t cutting as cleanly or the blade doesn’t roll smoothly and you’ve already tried a new blade, it’s time to rotate the cutting bar. Use both sides before replacing it.
