1. How do you use Fiskars Orange-Handled Scissors in your creations?

My mother started using them in the early seventies (during the "Scandinavian" craze) and they have always been the best for any project--I have used them since I was a little kid and still use them every day in all sorts of ways.

2. What is your best scissors advice?

Have lots of them! I will literally distribute 20 pairs of scissors around all the tables in my workshop so I never have to search for a pair--and they last longer!

3. Describe your creative style in three words or less.

Outrageous. Classic. Stunning.

4. What is your favorite type of Fiskars scissors? Why?

I like the biggest ones (not sure of the model #) for cutting yards and yards of fabric.

5. What is your favorite medium to work with and what is the most challenging?

My favorite medium is European specialty and beaded fabric. The most challenging are silks and chiffons (silk velvet especially!)

6. Are there parts of your work that ever surprise you? How?

It always surprises me when things you didn't even measure fit together perfectly...happy accidents!

7. What is your favorite Fiskars tool?

The rotary cutters are magical on leather.
