The first time you try our PowerGear® Lopper, you’ll be amazed — but it’s not magic, it’s gears. Our patented gear technology multiplies your leverage to give you up to three times more power on every cut. This means you can power through thick branches that you wouldn’t be able to cut with traditional loppers. It also means that our lopper can be lighter than other loppers, reducing strain on your hands, wrists and muscles when you’re reaching to cut a branch or have a lot of branches to cut. PowerGear® tools — the perfect choice for anyone who appreciates tools that make work easier.

These loppers work great. They are very sharp and require little sharpening. however, the handle seem to be a slight bit weak. thus the 4 stars, this is covered by the warranty. good company and product all things considered.
These are probably one of the better loppers on the market and work as expected; easily cutting 2" diameter of green/soft limbs. While the design is great, the quality of the blades leads a lot to be desired. In just 1 season, I've been through several blades. The first replacement was thankfully sent at no cost, but additional replacements are about $8 and $8 for shipping. That's nearly 1/2 of what the tool cost me in the first place. It was labelled as 'Titanium' but based on how they chipped and the look of the metal, they appear to be made with cheap pot-metal--far from assumed strength of Titanium. There are no replacements locally available that I can find so they have to be ordered. Unless I can find a less expensive (and better) blade replacement my next set of loppers will be a something different.
Like the way the Lopper works, When cleaning after use, I noticed if you store with cutting head up it retains any water in the handle that got in during the cleaning process. I noticed this when I turned head down water ran out of the handle. I have sealed my handle with Silicon. You may want to do this at the factory.
