Handmade Birdcage Thank You Card

I used the Fuse Creativity System™ to create the blue bird embellishment. Use your paper trimmer to cut a piece of patterned cardstock measuring 5” x 12”. Fold in half and crease.

Run strips of washi tape vertically and ½” apart to create the bars of the cage. Run several rows of tape horizontally to create the base of the cage. Trim any excess tape from the edges using a blade and cutting mat or scissors.

Round off the top corners of the card using your blade or scissors.

Cut a strip of paper measuring 5” x 2” and punch a decorative border using your favorite border punch. Attach this piece to the cage using paper glue or double-stick tape.

Create a birdcage hanger using a circle punch and a small hole punch. Attach this piece to the cage using paper glue or double-stick tape.

Use letter stickers to create your sentiment on the card.

Attach the wings to your embellishment using adhesive foam for dimension. Attach the bird to the birdcage using the same adhesive foam.
