With a few discarded mailing tubes, construction paper, and Fiskars Squeeze Punches you can craft these characters in under 20 minutes.
The Fuse Creativity System® makes great embellishments for handmade cards. Here is an example of how you can use the clock embellishment and punched shapes to make a heartfelt greeting.
Start by gathering your supplies. You will need a card base, patterned paper, the clock embellishment, a circle punch, two sizes of heart punches, scissors and a button.
Begin by cutting a piece of patterned paper to size with the SureCut paper trimmer. Use a Fiskars corner rounding punch to round both the upper left and lower right corners of the patterned paper inset.
Trim off the right edge of the die cut clock and place it on top of the patterned paper inset. Punch a heart from patterned paper and affix it to the center of the clock die cut with foam adhesive.
Cut a small pennant from yellow cardstock using the SureCut paper trimmer and scissors. Use alphabet stickers or a stamp to add a sentiment to the pennant. Affix the pennant to the left-hand side of the patterned paper panel.Next add a small circle punched from back cardstock to the left side of the pennant. Affix a button in the center of the cardstock cicle.
Punch two more small circles from black cardstock. Use the small heart pop-up punch to inset one heart shape inside each circle. Punch two more small circles from patterned paper and place them behind the black cardstock circles with the heart die cut.
Place the layered circles on the top and bottom edges of the card and trim the excess on each side.
