This layered card comes together in a matter of minutes as you put your Fuse and press plates to work for you the next time you need to send a word of thanks. Here’s how:
First, you’ll need to cut a piece of light grey cardstock to 7” x 10”. Fold in half and crease using your bone-folding tool for a 5” x 7” card base. Punch several circles using the leftover cardstock along with your Medium Round ‘N Round Squeeze Punch. Adhere a small amount of circles randomly along the left edge and a larger amount along the right side of the card. Covering the middle area isn’t necessary as you’ll be covering that with patterned paper.
Place your die into the orange carrier cartridge and insert the butterfly press plate. Ink the press plate with yellow ink, lay a 4” x 4” piece of light yellow cardstock face-down onto ink and cover with the cutting plate. Pass this sandwich through the Fuse. Remove and allow ink to set momentarily. Then, mount a sentiment from the Grateful Simple Stick stamp set onto a small acrylic block. Ink with black ink and stamp the sentiment into the open space on the die-cut. Add small yellow jewel stickers overtop the dots on the die-cut.
Cut several coordinating strips of patterned paper to 5” long—widths may vary, using your Card Making Bypass Trimmer.
Then punch one strip of orange cardstock measuring 1” x 5” using the Interchangeable Border Punch along with the Up In The Clouds Cartridge.
Adhere punched strip to one long edge of the one of the patterned paper strips. Adhere patterned paper strips, vertically, to the card base leaving a 1” section of grey along the left and approximately 3” along the right. Add embellished die-cut to the card so that it overlaps the patterned paper strips and hangs off to the right side of the card.
