I love using watercolors to stamp my images. With watercolors you can get a whole rainbow of colors to use instead of just the inkpad colors you own.
First trim a piece of cardstock to measure your card size using the Card Making Bypass Paper Trimmer. This trimmer is compact in size and perfect for making cards. Next, trim another piece of cardstock to fit slightly smaller than the front of the card. Adhere some torn pieces of patterned paper onto this piece using any white adhesive. Let dry for a few minutes.
Next, mount any large acrylic background stamp onto the Easy Stamp Press. Rub a white gelato over the stamp and then add areas of color onto that, using watercolors. Stamp this onto the card front.
Mount any rubber stamp onto a medium stamp block. Paint the rubber stamp using two or three different shades of blue watercolor using more paint than water. Stamp this onto a piece of cardstock.
Next, follow the same steps and stamp using watercolors onto a piece of fabric. Press firmly and carefully lift the stamp. Let dry.
Next, repeat the same stamps and stamp using watercolors onto a piece of felt. The watercolor stamp might appear lighter on the felt but will take longer to dry.
Trim the stamped cardstock, fabric and felt using a pair of Micro trip scissors. Also trim some metal and ribbon. Adhere onto card front to form a chevron pattern. Add large button.
Adhere all the pieces onto the card front. Add more buttons, brads and twine. Stamp sentiment onto water colored cardstock, trim and adhere.
