Family Tree

Using both scrapbook and kid's crafting tools, create this fun family tree with your child or children, to display in your home.


Adult Prep Work - Use ultra shape xpress tool and woodland tree shape template to trim trunk/branches portion of your family tree from brown cardstock. Punch leaves from various colors of cardtock using the spring leaf squeeze punch, set aside. Size photos small enough to be punched with the Round N Round Medium circle punch, punch photos and set aside. Use Round N Round Large circle punch to punch coordinating colored circles from cardstock. Trim two strips of different colored green cardstock to use as "grass".

Child Activity:

Child will use kid scissors to cut fringe into green cardstock "grass" strips. Child can layer and adhere (with help if needed) grass strips to bottom of kraft cardstock page. Child can then adhere tree trunk base to page. Let child adhere photo circles to colored cardstock circle backgrounds. Photo circles can the be adhered around tree using foam adhesive squares. Let child choose and adhere colored leaves to empty part of tree. Birds and hearts can be adhered as well. Finish family tree my placing stickers that say "My Family" on the bottom part of the page
