Pencil Eraser Stamping

eraser stamps

Here is a quick and easy craft the kids can create for their teacher gifts this year using a pencil eraser as a stamp.

Using just a few supplies, you can create lovely tags and cards to say thank you to teachers. This is also a project that is very kid-friendly and gives children the opportunity to create fun designs using ink and pencil erasers.

supplies needed

Using the Fuse Creativity System® you can create blank tags and cards that are ready for some stamping fun. Using a variety of ink colors, you can begin stamping with the pencil erasers right away.

Fiskars squeeze punches in specific shapes are perfect to create a template by punching out the shape (heart, star, or circle) and using a removable adhesive to keep the shape in place while you stamp. Then remove the shape and you have the perfect stamped image!

A favorite technique by all the kids is what I like to call ‘confetti’. Using all the ink colors, just stamp randomly all over the card or tag. Add a sentiment by stamping with alphabet stamps.

To make an easy card using the Fuse Creativity System® Scallop Circle Die, follow these easy instructions:

1. Trim your cardstock to 5x10 inches and fold it in half so your final card size is 5” x 5”.

2. Place the folded cardstock on the Fuse die, with the folded edge placed inside the die about 0.5”.

After the cardstock is cut, it should look like a clamshell.

3. Stamp a design using the pencil erasers, and add a sentiment and some ribbon wrapped around the fold.

4. And you’re finished! It’s a quick and easy card that your favorite teacher will love!
