Sharpen those Pencils!
It’s easy to create a pencil box that stands out from the class with your Fiskars tools. For this pencil box, I started with a simple plastic container from my local office supply store. I embellished the top with a patterned paper, then added interest with new Fiskars punches that are perfect for back to school: the notebook border punch, and An Apple a Day squeeze punch.

Time to Hit the Books!
Creating fun bookmarks is easy with Fiskars tools. I simply trimmed cardstock to the size that I wanted (my book marks are 2.5in x 9in), then embellished with punched shapes. The new Fiskars In Stitches border punch makes it SO easy to add detail to your projects. These bookmarks would make a great project for your kids – and might just encourage them to hit the books!

Taking Notes…
One of the easiest ways to personalize school supplies is to add crafty accents to spiral notebooks. Whether these notebooks hold assignments, lecture notes, or simply notes to friends…embellishing with craft supplies makes them more fun! I used a simple 5inx7in spiral bound notebook. After adhering patterned paper to the front cover, I added a fun border accent with the new Fiskars Notebook border punch.
