Fiskars Heads to Saskatoon in June for Project Orange Thumb Canada

MADISON, Wis. (March 4, 2014) – Fiskars® is pleased to announce its Project Orange Thumb® community gardening initiative is heading to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in Canada this summer to help transform an empty lot in the Meadowgreen neighborhood into a beautiful, productive community gathering space – all in a single day. 

Fiskars has partnered with Saskatoon Open Door Society, CHEP Good Food Inc., the City of Saskatoon and Canadian Tire Corporation on the one-day garden makeover. Work on the community garden in Meadowgreen will begin in June. 

More information on the garden makeover in Saskatoon, as well as the 2014 U.S. garden makeover and 2014 grant recipients will be announced on Fiskars.com on March 31, 2014.
