This simple school skirt is very easy to make and beginner seamstresses will enjoy making more than one!

1. Measure your child’s waist and multiply by 2. This will be the width of your fabric. Cut fabric to this width.

2. Measure from the child’s waist down to where you want the skirt to finish. Add 4.5” to this number. This will be the length of your fabric. Cut fabric piece from step one to this length.
