I love when spring colors start to creep into our outdoor spaces.

I created this simple burlap banner to help bring spring colors into the garden a bit early. The burlap background lends a natural touch, while the spring-y shapes are bright and cheery. The best part? It's super simple to make!

Instructions:
1. Cut burlap to desired size using Fiskars non-stick scisscors
2. Fold the up edge down approximately 1.5 inches. Iron to hold in place, then machine stitch to secure.
3. Use Fiskars shape template to create paper template. Pin to fabric, and cut out.

4. Back fabric pieces with sticky back fusible web. Trim shape and backing.

5. Iron onto burlap flag.

5. Machine stitch loosely around image for decoration.
