Nice idea and well designed, and can be used to cut a really straight line when trimming the edges. The product is let down by the poor build quality and the reliance on a single screw, into the plastic body, holding the blades and tension spring in place. If (by chance) the amount of grass the blades scoop into the blades when used vertically is a little too difficult to cut the blades will just twist and all you manage to do is crush the grass and not cut it. Once one manages to realize this weakness and try hard to get just the right amount of grass in each cut they work well. If (like me) you get impatient with cutting six or seven blades at a time then this is not the tool for you and I would suggest buying some long handles cutters with normal solid blades and not this lightweight and flimsy tool. My wife has more patience than I and she finds these easy to use when you do little and often for each cut. If these break don't try looking for spares online as none of the parts that are weak enough to break first are available. Instead ask them to honour their lifetime warranty and replace them. As said at the start they are a good invention and are well designed, just a bit flimsy in the manufacture.
