The AdvantEdge™ Punch System features slide-and-lock technology that makes punching perfectly aligned borders easier than ever.
Discover the world’s first smart scissors! Amplify® Shears cut thick and heavy materials that other scissors can’t.
Our Comfort Loop Rotary Cutter with a 45 mm blade makes cutting quilting materials a breeze, and an updated blade and handle make every job even easier. The blade features a titanium coating that is three times harder than steel for improved durability and lasting sharpness, and the handle includes Softgrip® to reduce hand fatigue. A curved shape with a loop handle provides a natural fit for your hand to improve control, and a versatile design provides excellent blade visibility for right- or left-handed users. It even includes a sliding button that extends the blade during use and retracts it for safe storage.
The 1 star is because the blade is sharp. The handle is not made well and it's clunky and noisy. The push button to lock and unlock is not smooth. Major disappointment that I'm hoping to return to Fiskars since I threw out my receipt. The old style rotary cutter is a much better buy.
I have used Fiskars Rotary Cutters for as long as I can remember, somewhere around 15 years (I'm almost 30, so I'll be sewing for years to come). I just recently "upgraded" to the new 45mm Titanium Softgrip Comfort Loop Rotary Cutter and Titanium Blades, both at Home and at Work. I am Not happy with them. The new design makes it pratically impossible to use a ruler/straight edge while your cutting. I took and checked it againist my Original 45mm Fiskars Rotary Cutter and there was Definitely a difference in how much the blade comes out. If I could I'd return Both of them and just continue using my Original ones. Also I'm not sold on the New Titanium Blades yet either. Please fix this or don't discontinue the Originals.
